Has anyone worked with services that perform system-level drawing overlays and comprehensive documentation reviews? I’m curious to know if they actually help identify inconsistencies between MEP and civil systems (such as points of contact or system boundaries), and how useful their reports and marked PDFs are in a real-world project.

The reports were detailed but not overwhelming, and they included clear recommendations for resolution. One thing to watch out for is that some services just flag problems without offering practical solutions, so you want to ask about their approach before committing. We had to share a lot of large PDFs between teams, and I ended up using a free fax app to send some marked-up sheets to a subcontractor who didn't have proper email access. The verification process did take extra time upfront, but it prevented change orders later. I would recommend checking samples of their previous work to see if the level of detail matches what your team actually needs.
