Access panel for electrical panel behind drywall?

Finishing the garage and want to drywall over the electrical sub-panel but still have quick access for resets or future work. Any panels that are code-friendly and look professional?

Covering electrical panels with drywall access is common in finished spaces—just make sure it's removable and doesn't block the required working clearance. I prefer panels with screwless doors that pop off completely so you get full access without fuss. The one I installed has reinforced plastic that won't crack if you bump it with tools. Painted to match the garage walls it looks intentional rather than a patch job. I recently mounted a solid access panel sized 24×36 and it gives plenty of room to work inside while keeping everything neat and dust-free. Check local codes first, but this setup has passed two inspections for me.
