Our firm is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and the board wants to do something special for the senior partners. We’re tired of the usual luxury pens or watches that just end up in a drawer. I suggested the idea of high-end, custom-made lapel pins or brooches in 18k gold with a tiny gemstone detail—something subtle but unmistakably expensive. My concern is finding a manufacturer that can produce something delicate and sophisticated, not some bulky, stamped-out metal logo. We need real jewelry quality. Has anyone here commissioned small-batch, high-end pins for a professional setting? I’d love to find a studio that treats a lapel pin with the same artistic respect as an engagement ring.
