Need to hire a virtual assistant from the Philippines but every platform I check is packed with people and I have no clue how to pick the right one. Do I just go with the highest rated profile or is there a better way to screen people without wasting weeks on interviews. Would love to hear what actually works from someone who hires regularly over there.

Stop looking at ratings first. Most of those are fake or from people who never actually tested the person properly.
